The candidates will be responsible for taking initiative on research and development projects relating to digital video broadcasting for handheld devices
Qualifications:
1. Must have hand-on experience in mobile/handheld low power system.
2. Hand on experience in PDA/Handset Host Interface, SDIO, SPI, HPI/EHPI interface.
3. Design of board-level RF/analog/digital hardware supporting the development of next-generation wireless products and networks. This hardware includes platforms for silicon verification, discrete prototype designs, system integration, OTA performance testing, and product
4. Provide documentation of design and test requirements.
5. Work closely with systems engineering, IC design, RF/analog and digital design engineers.
6. Familiarity with layered protocols, particularly CDMA, WCDMA, EDGE, GPRS and GSM, DVB-H, DVB-T networks
7. Familiar with Video, Audio and data compression standard used in mobile communication device such as H263/4, MPEG2, AVS standard.
8. Development of practical communication product applications using RF/analog components, modems, DSPs, CPU, EEPROM,/SRAM,/DRAM/Flash memories, LCDs, and interface logic.
9. Power supply design and specification. Biasing and control schemes utilizing VCO, Synthesizer, DAC/ADC, LNA, Baseband/RF amplifier, VCTCXO/TCXO, PA, VGA, RF Switch. Baseband and RF filter design/characterization
10. Must be proficient with CAD tools for schematic capture and must have experience to direct PCB layout generation.
11Must have hands-on laboratory experience to test, optimize, and verify the performance of all designs, as well as their components.
12.BSEE/MSEE with minimum 5-7 years experience, Phd preferred.
